I know they exist. I saw one in my LBS. They said it was very limited but some actually get out. I'm wondering if they will be a regular color scheme going forward. Anyone know?

Yea, Here in So Cal between the 22nd and the 25th of the month the local bike shops have the magazine available. The new Mach 5.7 will have a curved top tube similar to the Phoenix and Firebird. A slightly lower bottom bracket, relaxed seat and head tube angles and also taperered head tube. It comes in half a pound less than the Mach 5.

I love my current Mach 5 and will have a hard tim justifying "upgrading," but the 2001 Mach 5 sounds like the perfect bike for me. They seem to have fixed every miniscule complaint that I had about the previous version.

Seeing that they have already made revisions to the Mach 4 and 5, I wonder when and what updates they will have for the Firebird.

I have a black 2010 Mach 5, got lucky at my LBS. I love the more cross-country feel of it (than the upcoming 2011) although if I had waited for next year, I'm sure I'd say I love the new design as well!

I wonder if this will replace the Mach 5 or be a new model.

Would it make sense to combine the new Split Pivot and DW-Link? From what I've read, it can be combined with different primary pivot points. Please help educate us Dave W.
