The dropper seatposts specialists at BikeYoke are launching a second-generation Revive seatpost and redesigned dropper remote. The BikeYoke Revive 2.0 has been designed to be stronger as well as longer, while the Triggy Alpha dropper remote focuses on a refined feel and improved ergonomics.

Functionally, the Revive 2.0 is the same but it gets a boost in strength for today's longer-stroke droppers.
When it was introduced in 2017, BikeYoke's Revive was the longest stroke dropper on the market, featuring 185mm of infinitely-adjustable travel. Since then, many bike manufacturers have focused on developing frames with short uninterrupted seat tubes, to cater to riders' desires to run the longest possible dropper post for their frame size.
Shorter seat tubes designed to maximize drop can place more stress on longer dropper posts. As a result, BikeYoke redesigned the chassis of their Revive post with a new single-piece upper slider constructed from 3D forged aluminum. This tube is then CNC machined with variable wall thickness in high-load areas (fore and aft) to make it stronger where it needs to be. The new 213mm version also received an extra-long bushing, increasing overlap to reduce wear.

In addition to the new strength-optimized upper tubes, all lengths of the BikeYoke Revive 2.0 seatpost feature longer saddle bolts with integrated conical washers and a new symmetric upper saddle clamp that makes saddle installation and removal easier.

Triggy Alpha Dropper Remote

Along with the redesigned dropper post comes a new lever. The Triggy Alpha builds on the already great Triggy lever with a sealed cartridge bearing for smooth actuation, the ability to adjust the angle of the lever to suit personal preference and two different paddle lengths.
The Triggy Alpha also has direct-mount compatibility SRAM, Shimano, Magura and Hope brakes as well as 22.2mm handlebar clamps.

The Triggy Alpha features universal cable clamping, making this dropper lever compatible with any cable-actuated dropper seatpost. It has a maximum cable pull of 11mm and a claimed weight of 32g with the short paddle and 34g with the longer version.
The Triggy Alpha will be available in late August/early September and will retail for $60.
