What does your rig weigh and what have you done to save some weight?

I'm interested to hear about SJ and Enduro weights, but I'm sure others are curious about all Specialized rides - so post em all.

Throw in a couple of pics too.

My Stump!

07 Stumpjumper Expert Large w/...

Upgrades:
King Wheelset with 819's
King Headset
2.1 Nevegals
XT 11-34 Cassette
Rival SL Saddle

Extras:
SBC Seatbag
Cat Eye Wireless Computer
SBC Shock Fender

Total Weight: 30.04 lbs

I got the wheelset because I've always wanted King hubs, and decided with the 819's because I got them at a shop price. I got the headset to match... I know:rolleyes: . But, it's mine right? I left the origonal tires on the origonal wheels, and felt the nevegals were a good choice. Xt cassette because of the quality and the large weight savings compared to the HG50's. Also, I got the saddle as a gift. But I'm sure the bag, comp, and fender all add the weight I tried to take off, but whatever. This isn't an XC racer, it's a trail bike! Sorry, no pix

Total Weigth = 27.4lbs w/o pedals (28lbs with pedals)

I could upgrade to a Fox Talas RLC and could lose close to 1lb. Could lose close to 1/2lbs on lighter wheels (Crossmax or Zonos). Target weight could be 26lbs.

Intense Lock-On Grips
Azonic Magnesium Flat pedals or Time ControlZ Clip-in
Specialized FatBoy Flame Sticker Kit, FSR, Carbon-look, and SWorks decals

Weight is 27 pounds even on the fish scale! A bit heaver with the Time Z’s

It was a bit lighter (.2lb) with the 2005 Reba Team Uturn I had mounted
I might go back as I think I prefer the 85mm setting for climbing more.
Or I might get a Marz XC700SL instead or a TALAS X
I don’t really need the extra travel but the Reba was beat up

Here is an old picture when I got it built in 2005, much has changed since then…

The wheels on this baby will be upgraded this year. Probably going to go DT 4.1d with Hope Pro 2 hubs... That should be a closer match in terms of performance. That said, these wheels are by no means weak! Weight - couldn't tell ya, since it ain't ever been weighed.. ;)

Then why bother posting? You could always weigh yourself on a normal scale then weigh yourself holding the bike and subtract the difference to get the approximate weight

hey mopartodd - does the Hope rear hub have the same flange height as the 525 so you could just relace with the same spokes? Or did you have to get new spoke lengths?

I didn't do the wheel build myself, but looking at it, I'd say you would need a different length spoke.
