Hey Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that I'll be hanging out with Paul Wassem, one of the original MTBR guys who is opening the new Bike Spring bike shop in Mountain View tomorrow (Saturday July 8th) during the grand opening. I'll be serving up some yummy burgers, dogs, and assorted sides for a sidewalk BBQ. All proceeds from food sales will benefit NorCAMBA, so I'm hoping you will all come down and have a bite to eat while checking out the new store.
The Silicon Valley Bicycle Coalition will be providing free bike parking at the store all day.
Bike Spring Bike Shop, the first Specialized concept store to open in the Silicon Valley, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday July 8, 2006. The day's festivities will include demo rides on Specialized full-suspension mountain bikes and high-end road bikes, and the new Specialized tire recycling initiative which encourages customers to bring in a used tire in exchange for a free commemorative water bottle. Customers will also have the opportunity to win a one-year ride on a top-of-the-line Specialized S-Works road or mountain bike, courtesy of the Specialized Research and Development team. In addition to the use of a pro-level bike for one year, the winner will receive an equipment kit that includes a Specialized helmet, optics, and shoes.
Bike Spring is on the corner of El Camino at 903 Castro Street in Mountain
View.
Hope to see you all there!
Patty
