Can anyone recommend a bike for me?

I am looking for something make out of exotic super light elements.

Carbon Fiber, Titanium,unobtainium,etc..

The ground is mostly flat however the roads are much too beat up for a road bike.

I am looking for a very light yet efficient bike which maybe does not make you lean forward too much like the Specialized Epic.

Maybe something like the carbon fiber specialized stump jumper hardtail but maybe something lighter because I don't need the bike to be that tough since I am not riding off cliffs or anything.

Thanks

The thing that makes a bike fast is the engine. Your riding position is important to how much power you can develop. If you want an efficient riding position, you get two choices.

XC/road, like the Epic or a road bike.
Or a recumbent.

I've taken all my road bikes off-road at one time or another and ridden all of them up and down curbs. I've taken my 'cross bike up and down stair sets too.

Come to think of it, how about a 'cross bike? They look macho, have room for big tires, and tend to have a taller head tube relative to reach.

Bear in mind that you're free to arrange the spacers and stem however you want to on any bike. Most bikes have enough vertical adjustability to put the grips/brake hoods plenty high.

I would suggest a cross bike as well, but in carbon. And maybe switch the bar to a flat bar or a riser, so you're always in upright position.

The Roubaix is an option. Though it's got the road components, I'd be hard-pressed to call it strictly a road bike.

Specialized Sirrus Limited might be a good option. I think it weighs somewhere around 20-21 lbs. It is a hybrid, not a road bike.

saw this bike at the autoshow strapped atop a panamera, I spent more time gazing at the bike than at the car.

Spendy and there is a even more expensive carbon version..
