Bike rack for carbon frame bikes (european ball towbar)

Hi, I own carbon frame bikes and I am currently looking for bike racks mounted on a fixed towbar (ball type). I've seen that the Thule T2 PRO XT bike rack would be better in my case since there is no contact with the frame. However I cannot find this rack with fixed towbar (ball type), only with 2" hitch. Is there any way to fix it anyway with the ball type hitch? I guess not...****!

If not, is there any problem to use the Thule EasyFold XT with carbon frames? Is it possible to attach it to the seatpost or wheel instead to the carbon frame? I've seen they have a kind of protection kit but ypu know...

Is there any other rack to be mount on ball towbar with no contact to the frame you recommend?

Thanks guys.

Can’t you just take the tow ball out when you want to use your bike rack? Then it should be just a hitch? Then you could use any hitch bike rack?

That might be common in the US, where tow ball is an attachment that slides into the receiver. In lots of other parts of the world the tow ball is actually part of the structure. That's what I mostly grew up with. The only square receivers were on large 4WD vehicles. Though oddly my Corolla has the square receiver.

That’s what I was wondering. Might be worth trying to get a hitch with the square receiver.
