riding in nevada with a lot of rocks my bike tends to kick rocks (even a 20+lb rock put in a nice dent) , or acidently run into them. i'm wondering there is a company that makes like skid plates for the under bellies of bikes, or plates for deraliures, lower portion of disks or any thing.

As far as i know the only skid plates are for the Trials bikes. There is a company that makes a rear derailleur guard, as for frames clear plastic adhesive possibly a 3M product.

If you don't beat the crap out of your bike you'll never have a good excuse to buy a new one...

the scratches do make it look sweet, and i kinda have to save up a little cash for the next bike, so the current one has to stay around, the diamond plate tube protector is pretty sweet, might have to invest in one of those

i never really thought to use duct tape, i've just been using a little bit of electrical on any high impact spots or were cables rub
