I was thinking about how cool these bikes were. I had one and never appreciated it. In addition to the rocking bike, check out the retro style Campy SR pedals, Bullseye Cranks, knee-high socks, humorous helmet cover and sunglasses that I had bought from Jacquie Phelan. Like a moron I lost them on a ride. At this race some a-hole stole all my clothing when I was changing - this is the last pic of my Hardcore Moutainbike Team gear.

Ahhhh yes, I reminisce also .....

I still have a '94. Actually recently had it restored with original decals and celeste paint.

I await the compilation of all the right components to get it back on the trail (after the new rigid SS, '99 Can Tourer, '90 Can SM300, and Chameleon XC gearie).

I would love to get a hold of some rigid forks for it though - but if I rightly recall, they were very soft (saw several bent pairs).

Nice! There's a guy here in town that's got a great looking Project 5 in the purple/red combo. I'd love to actually get one of these in my size(huge) to just have a vintage '29"er' in the house. either of you have any current pictures you can post?

Early this summer, I helped out a customer at the shop from Utah with a project 7 which obviously had some miles on it, but was in PERFECT original condition. The 700c canti equipped Mag 21 worked like ne, the bike looked perfect and the Suntour group looked like it did the day it rolled of the assembly line.

I was quite impressed with it, but there was no way he was parting with it...I tried...

Oh well.

But it was cool!
