It could be a missunderstanding.
Did he say he will ship you the 29'er when he gets it in stock?
But now he says that he has shipped the 26" version?
Some of these sellers have a lot of sales (high volume, low profit) and make mistakes.
I just bought a new rear shock from a Canadian shop on ebay, he sent it to the wrong person (someone else is Japan bought a shock at the same time and somehow both mine and his got sent to the other person!). He then sent me an email asking to send both the shocks back!
I never received one yet! I told him. In the end, he appologized and said he will send the shock to me and include something with a value of up to $45 from his store, so I had a little browse and the only thing I could find was an Easton EA70 CNT handlebar that was on his store for $65. He said no problem!
Just recieved the shock and handlebar 10mins ago! sweet! Raining really heavy today so can't fit them.
What is the feedback of the seller?
It could be an honest mistake.
