I just think you should have done some research on your own. They shouldn't have that weight listed, but you received a tire and they are willing to let you return it. Probably was a simple mistake on their part.

So there is a typo. A wire bead tire at the weight should have raised questions in the first place and there are other sources to cross check.

Hardly a "scam."

typo, mistake. As in the wrong weight was supplied for the wrong tire. It happens.

If you were really expecting a wire bead 2.1 full knobby to weigh that little I would like to sell you an irrigation canal in northern Arizona. Free shipping.

They are willing to take the tire back and refund your money. They also asked why the weight was incorrect. Tell them! Hardly a scam. Get over it.

It's not a "scam." They are attempting to work with you, but you are just trying to be stubborn. If I were them, I'd stop attempting to work it out with you.

Maxxis HR exception series 480g check maxxis web page
You did not buy the Exception version and it was not described as the Exception version. It was presented as the "rigid" (wire) bead, which weighs much more.

As far as them not "fixing" the entry, have you replied to them with the correction rather than just screaming at them? I thought not. Now just go away.

Give it a rest. You'd think they stole your firstborn child the way you are carrying on.

It's a tire weight listing. If you didn't like the service, get your money back and go else where.

It appears from this reply that the store is bending over backward for you. And you are complaining that they haven't changed (rightly or wrongly, as Shiggy pointed out) their website?

"dear sir

That should more than satisfy any reasonable person.
