I'm looking to upgrade my brakes. I want to keep it less than $200 per wheel...was thinking 'bout the Formula RXs or the older K24s. Experiences? Other suggestions? What do you think?
I think it really just depends on what kind of riding you want to do. I know someone running the older K24 brakes for simple Colorado XC stuff, and he loves them. I rode the bike, and they felt great JRA for the lack of real worth that is. Are cables out of the question? Again. Depending on what you ride, they could be the answer.

I can't count how many sets of Juicy 7s I have destroyed. Not a very good brake if you ask me.

I can certainly answer you, i had a pair of juicy seven and are Sh!T for making it simple

On the other hand I now have a pair of Formula RX and they are simply another world, great lever feel, GREAT power, exc aesthetics, only ¨bad¨ is the space between disc and pad but nothing a good alignment could fix
