I just sold a frame on ebay and was wondering who is the most reliable shipping company at a reasonable price? It is going from NC to MI.

USPS Priority Mail

That's the only way I ship anything in this country. Dirt cheap and super fast. It'll probably cost you about $12-$15 and be there in 2 days.

pack it well!
the only issue with postal delivery is they tend not to be as gentle, not necessarly by neglect but b/c it is handled more offen than say a courier.

wrap the bike in an old blanket or moving blanket...it does wonders for protection and anti scratches

Should I get a box from USPS or pack it on my own with a leftover box from a bike shop?

Also, cut it down so it is just slightly larger than the frame.
Then either wrap in a blanket as suggested or another popular thing is foam pipe insulation around all the tubes.

I have shipped a few frames & Shayne has the correct answer, cut bik box to fit, wrap, pvc pipe & cheap qr between dropout ship out USPS.
