I am wanting to buy a indoor trainer with a handlebar mounted tension adjuster. What is the best one I can purchase for around $150.
Look at the cycle ops trainer. I think that mine was around tha price range. Keep in mind that a trainer thats $150 is going to be loud and for the most part obnoxious. Just make sure your tire is a slick, it will keep the noice down a little bit. But hey, a trainer is better than no trainer right? Good luck.mb3designs said:I am wanting to buy a indoor trainer with a handlebar mounted tension adjuster. What is the best one I can purchase for around $150.

..I hit enter too fast. With fluid there's really no use for adjustable resistance. The harder you pedal, the more resistance. If you can max this thing out, you're an animal. I race expert and can't max this thing out for any sustained period of time.Lothar Othp said:http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=20981&subcategory_ID=4120
I've been using one of these for 5+ years. Just put a slick tire on and you're ready to roll. Definitely get a fluid trainer for smooth, quiet, progressive resistance.
