I'm visiting Denver (from NC) at the end of July, and will have 1 or 2 days for riding. Where's the best place to go within an hour or so of Denver? I'd prefer something with a good mix of flowing singletrack and some moderately technical parts. 10 - 20 miles worth would be good. Any tips would be much appreciated... thanks!

If you're coming from central Cackalacky, Buffalo Creek will do you right.
Nothing bad there at all, atop a rigid SS.

Did 22m & coulda done it again. 'Twas pure fun!!

Check out this link for a list of parks along the front range just West of Denver. Most allow mountain biking. I would recommend White Ranch. From the East side it is a long hard climb up but you can drive to the West side and skip the climb. Still plenty there to challenge you. You might also try Lair 'o the Bear. Both best during the week. Have fun!

Thanks very much for the link, that's a great site and resource. I'm in the same boat so this was perfect.
