What are the best replacement pads for 2006 XTR/XT calipers? Are the EBC gold, or the Red Ceramic(on E-Bay)any good?

EBC pads are good

Sorry I haven't used them on those brakes, but I like the EBC pads in general. I've used the golds and would recommend them. they're full sintered metal which makes them last a long time and create real good power, but can heat up on long dh runs. The green are their all-aroud organic ones. The red are great DH pads: great power and no heat, but they sure don't last long.

I've never used the EBC's,but on my XTR discs I've tried the Kool Stop's-quieter,much better modulation,power about the same! Good luck,Thomas
