we have a group of 6-7 people staying in burke hollow vt next weekend for 4 days of riding. we're looking for ride recommendations on 3-4 hours/day for moderate/advanced hardtail riders.

what are your favorite kingdom loops? any other trail loops within 1 hour that are essential when in town?

we'll have another 3-4 hikers looking for good places to enjoy. recommendations?

The first post has a exactly what you are looking for on Darling Hill, though I'd recommend adding a Poundcake, Coronary Bypass, Coronary instead of Loop . Your second day could take the second part of his ride, the part on the mountain, supplemented with a little J-bar & Dead Moose to spread it out a bit.

When you want to mix it up, do an anti-ride on Darling Hill:

Climb Darlinghill rd
Then hit every black diamond trail in a counter clockwise loop starting w Poundcake.

One of the last times I was there this made for a good ride. ( would have happily rode up the mtn to start, had it been open )

Camp - Parrs yard - magill - moose alley - white school - nose dive - lower pond - petes pond - white school - over to harp - coronary bypass - pastore point loop - Coronary - bemis - tap & die - river walk - back over for todys - webs - west branch - hogback - old webs - chapel break - culvert cut - sugar hill - ridge - Rim - east branch - up widowmaker - pines - vast - herbs - back up the road to camp.
