in your opinions what are some of the best bikes for 05 ? i know this is a question that can be taken all sorts of ways so lets just cover all bases. best bike for street or urban,djing, FR, Dh.

My vote
I like the KHS Team ST for XC racing. Cove still makes kicka$$ bikes for FR. And the Evil frame is a sweet HT for hucking/urban assault.NRTH SHORE said:

for xc id say the specialized epic is the best ride out there, street/urban id say snipes. FR im gona say foes fly and DH im gona say a v10. As for KHS they suck. owned one once and ill never ever ride one again.

yes that is an old Jr T up front. its an 03 that was on my norco n i put it up front to replace the exr comp that was on it. it feels great. good for urban , freeride u name it it does it. its a good allround bike though the fork limits you from doing bar spins i still like it. i shortend the shock lenth to about 6" though cuz i was finding i could manual a little to easy with little or no effort at all. not good for when i need to climb a hill. My lbs hooked me up with a new sping kit and it was a done deal. it still feel like its got the full 170mm though cuz i got it set up super nice. proper oil level and everything. In other words if i could afford to i would deffinitly try and hook my self up with a banshee morphine with a monster T or sumthing along the lines of that.

Agreed, Its also going to be interesting to see how the Demo8 has an impact on the market. It seems that if it has a reasonable weight it could replace the bighit in popularity.zedro said:

what I think will be some hot ticket items for 05:
- SC V10/VP-Free: need I say more?
- Sunday (new ID DH bike): Still hasn't made it's mark tho.
- Turner: especially the new Highline
- That new Foes FR bike: Depending on the price.
- M3: maybe! I think Intense shot themselves in the foot by sopping production of their M1 too early.

the new ironhorse DW is gunna kick ass...i want want want want...and am selling all my bikes to get one...im still contenplating about weather or not to keep the boxxer tho...id replace it with a 888rc and i think i will i just havent seen or ridden it yet...but definatly the DW is gunna mke an impact...

for the trails the blur vpp and intense 5.5 look ssuuppeerr sweet. DH, if i had the cash, my two picks would be the new v10 or m3. FR, i'll have to stick with my scream or the vpp-free. And for road bikes, im really thinkin the cannondale r5000, really tricked out for around 2500, i cant wait to get me a road bike, its gonna be so much fun.

LTS?? i don't see LTS in any of these replies unless im missing somthing.. I see LBS which means local bike shop.. but back to best of would any one recomend the new giant street series or dj series. I havent heard much on them. And what about that new honda bike any more thoughts on that?
