looking for the best brake pads for my shimano deore mech's and so far I have found kool stop, Aztec, and EBC brake pads. I was reading the reviews for the EBC pads and they werent good so now I am leaning towards the other two. which do you guys recomend or are there better kinds?

how come everybody who reviewed them at mtbr said they had good stopping power but wore down really quik. I want something that will last awhile and what color do you recomend?

has anybody used the aztek or kool stop pads? cant make up my mind
