just wondering what are some ppls favourite shops to get gear from in adelaide (and the rest of the state for that matter)

Well, I like Bicycle Express and Lifecycle. They have a good selection and customer service and between them, cover quite a few different bike brands.

I don't like Jt's or Trak very much.

any other SA riders out there who care to share there opinions and expereinces with Adelaide bike shops?

Depends what you are after.. Bicycle Express would be the largest shop, JT's have a few shops around the state. My favourite (especially for service and MTB stuff) would be Mitcham Cycles on Unley/Belair road. They ride mountain bikes, that always helps!! They also carry some good lines and know MTB products well.

I also like the guys at Glenelg cycles, but they are more of a road based store these days.

Standish Cycles Unley are always helpful.. And they do sell bikes other than Standish too. Come to think of it I don't think I even saw a Standish in there.
