I've got one on an XTR and XT crankset. Using Saint Chainring bolts. But any "longer" bolts will work.
will that fit on my crankset??? i have a 44/32/23
Highly unlikely you have a 23t granny gear, but that's besides the point.

If you want a bashguard for a 44t chainring, go for the blackspire big ring protector.

Most bashguards replace the outer ring, so you're running a double ring setup. If you're going to need the top end, go 24/36. A 36t bashguard on a 32t chainring will work fine.
you want to keep the big ring? then a blackspire big ring for you, if you just want to run a double id get a bbg gaurd.
the blackspire has 5 bolts and my slx has 4......uhhhhhhhh
the bbg is prime im about to buy one.... the price is rediculously cheap! 18 bucks shipped... cant beat that. thanks b-kul
just ordered one...... B kul do you have one??? if so can u post some pics? thanks
I used the blackspire for about 3 rides and then dumped it and went for a double and bash setup.

The reasons are, its sticks out 1/2" i "felt" like i was catching my leg on it and realised i didn't actually use the big ring that often.

Maybe you'll get on with it dude i didn't!

i dont run a bash gaurd, just an e 13 dr chain guide, i find the gaurd is just unnecisary weight for me (and riding a parker i want to cut weight wherever i can). if i did use a bash though it would be a bbg, light, cheap, and good looking.
