I made it to Stewart from Long Island for the first and second times over the past two weeks. I was on my 26 inch hardtail with IRC Mibro tires and it felt like I could use some more grip. I'm pretty sure that I'll be going to the race at Stewart with my Niner next weekend. I have Hutch Pythons mounted tubeless and I'm a little concerned that I'll be slippin and slidin too much. What do you think. I do have a set of Kenda Klaws which should be much grippier but I really don't want to do the switch if I don't have to. Do you think I should?

Other than that, which tires do you like for Stewart and the rest of the Hudson Valley?

I run Kenda Nevegals and/or Blue Grooves at Stewart.

After sliding around the trails in Bethpage Park yesterday and with more rain forecast for the coming week, I switched to the Kenda Klaws. Much better for the wet stuff.
