Hows the weather typically? Are trails there subject to rain shut downs (they aren’t here, so I want to follow proper etiquette). Based on the internet….. it looks like you could justify a longer travel trail/enduroish bike that pedals well, which I have, but I love my hard tails. Ill be in TX for a conference the 14th and 15th of March, then plan to drive up for 3 days of riding that week.

Thanks in advance. If any locals want to tour guide the 16th, 17th, 18th or 19th that would be cool too. Ill try to keep up

Not a NWA local but have made several trips to the area in March with good luck. Temps have been anywhere from mid 30s overnight to the mid 60s during the day. There are some dedicated rain routes which hold up quite well to moisture. Everything around Bentonville/ Bella Vista would be fine on a hardtail. There is a bit of chunk here and there but that seems to be more the exception than the rule.
