Yeah, same here in the O.C. I got out of Bent Creek around 3ish. It was relatively dry then. Not so much now!

It was kinda muddy but the sun was out at 5:30. I rode mostly gravel.

any reports from today 7/22? looked like afternoon showers have been hitting it regularly. and what is it about that place that attracts the rain?

It was muddy out of Rice Pinnacle at 2P, usual spots- Wolf Branch, Ledford.

Found my own answer when I went out there at 8 p.m. to go for a hike. It was a mud fest on all the lower elevation trails; didn't bother to check others out. Looked like a lot of people rode it in the rain; trails were pretty trashed.

Maybe good to keep this as an ongoing thread as long as the afternoon showers are hanging around this season?
