Y'all are invited to give a little love back to the trails. This is a clean up and beautification day. We'll be doing glamourous jobs of picking up trash and dumped items, on the city park land, some county land and the private property that is the top of the DH course.
This is our first step in establishing ourselves with the city as a valued user group. We will be having trail maintenance work days later on this spring.
Date Sat April 16
Time Orientation at 9, till 1 or so??
Place Camp Sekani, entrance is on Upriver Drive in between the climbing rocks and the Boulder Beach parking lot.
Bring: gloves, sturdy shoes, drinking water.
We will have schwag for volunteers courtesy local shops.
This is the Fat Tire Trail Riders first real event. We have a partnership with the City of Spokane though the new Adopt a Park program, and they are really excited about having a mountain bike club involved with the Camp Sekani land. They are very supportive of the use of the trails for riding.
