Couple of upgrades over the BD bikes, Deore shifters, rear D and Brakes.
Put that extra 3 bills in the $695 BD and you got something.

No, the FB4 PRO (Blue one) has all the same specs, deore, etc. But as mentioned, $100 less.
It's the $995 Fanton FB4 PRO.

Also, cranks (or at least big rings) are different between Comp and Elite/Pro.

The SE bikes are basically Comp and Pro clones, spec wise.

wonder why they go thru the trouble of branding these as another make... are ppl really going to get emotionally attached to these brands?

just sell it based on components and call it a day..

Price Point doesn't list stock availability. They in stock shipping now? BD hasn't shipped a SE [email protected] yet to my knowledge. Price Point also shows a black color option in the [email protected], BD does not.
PP does list stock availability when it is available. You simply have to choose the size. 4 available in stock for both 17" and 19" [email protected], and a few in stock for the Red [email protected] in those sizes as well.

No 15"s.

I think they're a great deal, maybe not AS GOOD a deal as their respective FB4 "Comp" and "Pro". But still a good deal, and possibly more available for someone seeking to buy now.

That's their entire business model. To slap stickers of now defunct, once respected bicycle brands onto mass produced mail order bikes. Windsor, Motobecane, Dawes, Mercier, etc. Those brands don't exist anymore. They're just stickers.

The thing is, Joe consumer doesn't know that.
