I think I've been in a state of shock the past couple of days. I realize they aren't crispy black but the clean up guys told me the smoke is indeed etched into the paint. To make a short story short. The wind storm knocked over trees halfway down the alley, which in turn broke some utility poles and a power line landed on my garage. With no power that meant all the traffic lights were out and it took a while for the FD to get to my house. I now have a bbq'd Yeti, Niner, Ritchey and Fairlight.... plus 3 decades worth of parts, wheels and tools. It was a total loss above knee level and everything else was soaked with foam. And I haven't even ridden the Niner yet. Just finished building the wheels a couple of weeks ago. If only the FD had a squadron of drones with fire extinguishers.
