i need a 73 mm BB but i see there are many 73mm BB's with different spindle lengths. how does the spindle length come into play for what i need? i have a hollowtech xt crankset
Most frame manufacturers have a specific chainline they recommend for their frames. Most bikes use a 47.5mm - 50 mm chainline. Chainline is the distance from the middle of the bottom bracket shell to the middle chainring.
