For a BB go for a RACE FACE EVOLVE FR ... cost 50 even in JensonUSA and is a great BB... a bit heavy but hey...!! is a FR/DH BB...

You would have to ask someone at your LBS, but I think that the TruVativ has an adjustable ring on it. I recently set up a Stealhead for myself and I was able to use my TruVativ BB from my previous bike. All I had to do was swap the ring to the other side. Of course, I was at my LBS when I did that, otherwise I would have not known what to do.

A 113 will be fine for standard [chain] rings and and/or outer bashguard, if you're gonna use a chainguide get a 118 so it'll clear the wide stays.

A 108 gives you a better chainline, but you can run into clearance problems. The steelhead has good stay clearance though....

Anyway, simple answer, get a 113.
