So have an old gxp bb and stylo crank setup that came off my '06 nomad and I want to install it on my '08 superlight that I'm building up.

I was on SC website and noticed that the spacing maybe a little different.

SL 68mm bb shell
Nomad 73mm bb shell

Both have a recommended chain line of 50mm - 51mm.

I'm not up on the technical aspect of BB's and chainlines.

So my questions is will the old setup work on the superlight? or What will happen if I use the old setup on the superlight?

Yes, they will work. You need the spacers (2.5mm on each side) for the bearing cups so it fits the 68mm BB on the Superlight
Okay, so it sounds like the actual frame spacing on the bike is what is 68 or 73mm...not the bb itself...right?
