Hi all, question time again.

I preordered a Polygon Siskiu T8 and I want to know what specific tool I need to buy for the bottom bracket and crankset.

For preloading the bearings you need the BBT-10.2 and to remove and install the BB you can go with the BBT-9 or BBT-19.2.

Edit: If you decide to go with the BBT-9 you don't need the BBT-10.2.

That's right but the crank cap is also used to set the preload on the BB bearings.

Okay, I see where you going. The crank cap seats the crank arm to the base of spindle crank splines. These BB's do not have angular bearing that require or need preload adjustments. They are radial bearings that are not to be preloaded. The crank cap can be overtightened and place an unwanted sideload on the bearings, but no preload should be applied.

I've always considered that a preload adjustment, I thought everyone did.
