Does anyone know which BB to use with a Shimano Deore Hollowtech Crank?
Square Tapered or splined?

The specific size I need is 73mm wide, threaded English 1.37x24t if that's of any help.

I BELIEVE that the hollowtech cranks use a splined BB. That's what mine have. My 2006 Specialized FSR XC Pro came with Deore Hollowtech cranks and an ES-30 BB which is splined. I hope this helps.

Hollowtech isn't enough information, they made square taper versions as well as splined (and the newer external types are Hollowtech also, refers to the construction of the arm). Find the model number of the crank or take the cranks off and it'll be obvious. Once you know the specific crank model, you can determine the spindle length, too. Yep, Bikinfoolferlife is correct... I had a set of Deore hollowtech square taper cranks... so. you better take a look at the model or pull them off...

Don't I need to know if the cranks are square taper or splined to know which crankpuller to use?

Did you look for the model number? Park makes a couple crank pullers, I've got one of each myself, I think there's one model that would do both (CCP4?).
