I have a 2002 XTR crankset with the four arm spider. It has the 112mm BCD. I am hoping that someone has experience with replacing the 46 tooth chainring with a bashguard.

I have found bashguards for Race Face, Truvativ and other cranks, both standard and compact, but can't seem to determine what product would work for the Shimano cranks.

Any help here? TIA

...dhrings.com has them...but here is what I did...

...I took an old skool 52T XTR ring and machined all the teeth off. Worked okay for dirt and racing but wouldn't do so well for street.

I don't know if dhrings.com is still around.
