Usually down then inside between the fork leg and wheel, then to the caliper. Typically a hose clip at the top of the fork leg avoids interference with the tire as the hose wraps around the leg. YMMV, there can be exceptions to this...
mine is a little different because Manitou puts the guide on the back of the leg. So I go from the back then zip tie onto the brace and around the right side of the frame with the hose sweeping back to the left lever.
Maybe a little different but it keeps the cable close to my bike and has plenty of room for handlebar swing. so far so good
