if you were about to have heart surgery would you use the lowest bidder???

Quality is never expensive........get a Marzocchi
quality is great and all but not haveing a job and not being able to get one makes it so that im way limited, should i scout around for a used one? also i am going to need to pay for other parts on my bike when they brake
A used Vanilla would prob be super nice. Should be able to pick up a used one for around a $100 (maybe an 03 model). Would make a good DJ fork for cheap.
get the pike....you won't be sorry. 95-140mm of travel, external rebound and compression...QR thru axle. can't lose
Pike is an amazing fork. Pretty light, very tuneable, stiff.

z1, meh, I've had bad luck with Marzocchi forks.

Vanilla, great fork, very light. Can't run a 203mm rotor with some of the previous years (cracked dropouts/disc tabs). And the QR makes it one of the more flexy forks. The lower castings are a bit thin, and I have seen them blow out before, but it seemed to be an isolated incident.

Look into a Gold Label, a TPC+ Sherman with the travel permanently reduced, or a devolved SPV Sherman with the travel knocked down.

That is cheesy as fyck. Serious Bob, I'de put money that you are gonna start turning people away from Zocchi. Besides, do you know the first thing about dirt jumping? Have you ever ridden a Pike or a Vannilla? Then quit talking out of your as$.
If someone started a thread asking what the best fork for trials riding, you would say "bla bla bla Marzocchi bla bla bla."

The 2 $hittiest feeling forks i have ever felt were the Marzocchi Dirt Jam Pro, and the Marzocchi drop off. I don't know how Marzocchi can even put that Dirt Jam Pro on bikes, and sell them. They are complete garbage.
The new Marzocchi dirt jumpers feel good. A Z1 sport custom tuned by Brad at Nemesis feels great.
Pikes are awesome. Vannillas and Talas RLCs are way sick.
Just stay away from the Dirt Jam Pros.
yea i hate my drop off comp, I think im gonna bust my ass and try and get 20 hrs of work done in a couple of days to get a pike!
Whats a cheap hub that can hold up to some abuse that is compatable with this
G
My vote is 100% Pike on this one. Sick fork, great for the $... you wont be disapointed
Don't bother with some high end 20mm hub. Most anything with sealed cartridge bearings should hold up just fine.
