Go for the juicy! The bb7 are real easy to work with and work generaly well, but over the long haul having a hydrolic brake is a way nicer riding experience.mafia6 said:both are selling about the same price in my country considering the juicy comes with levers..so which would u guys prefer?
icic...what are the things i should avoid touching the rotors..i heard i should not overturn my bike when i use hydros..true? sry first time venturing into discs..Tarekith said:Definitely the Juicies. My last bike had BB7's, and the new one has Juicy 5's, and I would choose the Juicies every time now. Easier to set up and once done, you don't need to make any adjustments. Easier to get more stopping power with only 1 finger too.
i've been a loooooong time lover of the BB-7 stuff. but.....i just swapped one bike over to the juicy -5 stuff, with similar rotor sizes. wow. liked it enough that i'm swapping over the other bike as well. selling the old mech stuff to help finance the dealio.mafia6 said:both are selling about the same price in my country considering the juicy comes with levers..so which would u guys prefer?

and the juicy-5 is not even the high end setup. feels incredible, compared to the bb-7. and i was very particular about my mech setup. even with that, the hydros just felt better.
irc they do with some sort of adapter..ur lbs can get it done..chowmeiniac said:i have a quick off topic but somewhat related question. do the juicy 5 and 7 work with shimano center lock rotors?
