Hello-

Has anyone come up with a good way of hooking up a B.O.B. ,
Without using the standard Quick Release skewer attachment?

Any ideas would be cool.

Thanks
Jim

Jim,

The BOB trailer folks also sell "BOB nuts" which are just standard non-QR standard axle nuts with the little spindle in line.

I've an extra pair if you want some. I've not used 'em, and they sell for twenty five bucks. You can have mine for $20./shipped.

I use Bob Nutz too

They stick out a little and I worry I'll shred the back of my legs some day when i don't have the trailer on. But - they work great. Make sure you get the 10mm x 1 threads if you are using a solid shimano axel. Bob Nutz only work on solid threaded axels.

Jim,

My BobNutz are gathering dust, do you want 'em, or did you order from BOB??
Hey,
Thanks for the offer, sounds like a good deal.

But, I'm gonna wait until spring trail work time rolls around.
I've been buying too much stuff lately.

Thanks again,

Jim
