axs shifting issue

I have an issue with my Eagle XX1 AXS setup that I just can't figure out: Upshifting from 32 to 28 lags behind/clicks/doesn't shift. Trimming fixes it, but at the expense of the downshift from 10 to 12. when I trim it back, I fix the 10 to 12 shift, but the 32 to 28 no longer works :-(

Cassette: XG 1295
Hanger has been bent a few times, but I have always straightened it. It's aligned right now.
Chain is new and was replaced before it was stretched, using a proper chain checker tool

My Q is: Even though my hanger is aligned, it has been bent before a few times now. Would getting a new hanger and aligning it fix this type of shift issue? Or would I see other types of issues if hanger was the culprit?

Anything else I should try?

Thanks all

If it's aligned it's aligned and a new one wont improve things. I would re-confirm that its near perfect though (within 1-2mm at any point on the rim). AXS does like everything to be pretty square. I would order another one anyway though and keep your old one for an emergency spare, once they get bent a few times they can get noodly and will be prone to breaking if you need to straighten it again.

Another thing to check is the b-screw adjustment. Again it should be dead on and it must be set at sag.

I align hanger top/bottom, right/left. I can give diagonal aligning a go.

On b screw alignment, its not perfect right now because I was messing with my shock pressure. But that should not matter if I am experiencing this issue with bike on the stand, right?

I'm working on an AXS bike in the shop ATM that has this issue, I'm back and forth with the Canadian SRAm distributor on how to resolve.

I have a new hanger coming for the bike but if that doesnt fix the problem it has to get shipped back to them for diagnosis and/or repair and or/ replacement.

This is a GX AXS derailleur.

Make sure you don't have a tight link in the chain. Ive had this a few times (on newer xx1 chains too). Mine was doing what yours was. I replaced the hanger and it went back to shifting perfectly. I didn't think I had even bent it.

I had a similar issue. Ended up that the servo motor wouldn't fire for the first shift (moving from the 10 tooth cog to the next largest).
