Well, it took me about a year but I talked my mom into taking our vacation to whistler this summer. Now my cousins want to meet us in crested butte instead and all I can find is XC there. Does anybody know of any good FR in the area? Im still pulling hard for whistler, but if all else fails.......

You could go to the DH race out there. (www.racemsc.com) for the date. (CB) Although I'd much rather go to whistler than CB. 
I'm not sure about technical FR trails in the Crested Butte area (it's mostly known for epic XC riding), but the resort has run a lift the past few summers from the Wildflower Rush race through Labor Day weekend.
