I am trying to figure out how to work the contact-point adjustmen on my 2013 X0 brakes (not the trail version). They came with a Cannondale F29 Carbon bike.

I've been looking at this: Hydraulic Brake Setup | SRAM, but I still don't get it.

I've seen two versions of the lever:
1) The one that i have (https://twentynineinches.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/XO_Red_BrakeLever.jpg)
2) The other one (https://www.sicklines.com/news-images/AVID_X0_BrakeLever_red_MY12s.jpg)

Is the second one the trail version? How do I do contact-point adjustment on the brakes that I have?

You don't have contact point adjustment. The second version is the previous model lever. The xo trail levers are different then both.

That old design didn't work very well. I had a set of xx's with those levers (well same design). The new contact point adjustment style on my xo trails and elixir 9's work much better.

Plus you're working with an oem spec'd brake which usually gets the cheapest style/version they can get.

Hmm. I don't think my X0 brakes are a certain OEM version. How do I tell? They look like the ones that are available to buy. Besides, I'd say the bike is pretty high end for an off-the-shelf bike.

I just thought X0s had contact-point adjustment, that's all.

Oem as in they came on a complete bike. I'm not saying they're cheap or your bike was cheap; I'm just saying parts manufacturers are notorious for making/selling parts to bike companies without certain features.
