Anybody out there know how or if I can shorten the brake lines on my Ultimate's without bleeding the system? I want to ride tomorrow, but no bleed kit in the house.

You need the barbs and compression olives. If you're careful, you will not need to bleed after shortening the lines.

I say leave the lines a bit long and just ride. That way you won't be dissappointed if you do need to bleed and can't ride.
