Sometime ago I got these levers from pricepoint and they had as much play at the lever as the SD7's, I've had the local shop send them back to Avid (since Sram does not deal with customers), and the replacement still had the slop - what gives? Did anyone else have this problem?

By the way, I fixed it - and the way I did it was by attaching the alu pivot rod to the lever arm with epoxy. The lever spins in the bearings smoothly and there is no slop. I think the pivot rod diameter is too small so when its placed in the lever arm it just moves a lot. I think with time the slop would cause some damage to the pivot and the lever arm assembly. I'm totally not happy with Avid... or Sram - whichever is responsible for this.
