hi all

thanks to all who suggested replacing the pads with a different composition pad.bv

i had a heat related squealing issue with the avid juicy 3s on my 2008 intense spider xvp

i replaced the stock, avid semi metallic pads with avid resin pads and the noise seems to have gone away as per suggestion of my LBS. i only did this on the rear, now the fronts are starting to make noise, so i think i will put the resin pads on the fronts as well.

the semis were about 7 months old.

i was surprised that it was so easy to replace the pads, the worse part was realigniing the rear wheel with the caliper and axle mounts.

you wont hear me coming anymore!
