Well, here is the short list:
Bicycle sport shop - great service at the south location, north is average on service, wide selection, rentals in the south.
University - good people, open on sundays, also rent.
Ozone - now that the old owner is gone its a good place to go. Helped me out big time with some on the spot repairs, good vibe inside.
Hammerhead - bought my current bike from them, boutique shop, best high end brands, great service, tough hours (M-F only)
Cycle progression - great selection of high end bikes, awesome service. Opened up early just to fix my bike once, really solid.
Freewheelin - bought first real bike there, nice folks, focus on the trek/klein/fisher level bikes.
There are plenty of others, that should get you started.
