I was expecting Auburn to be a total slopfest so I rode Granite Bay today, which was a true slopfest!

I'll have to get up to Auburn early this week before the rain returns. Thanks for the great, inspiring pics as always!

Soooo.... Anyone care to show me how to lever up those rock ledges on Manzanita and Mossy Rock without stopping? Can it be done without a bash guard?

question: how would you compare the technical difficulty of your auburn loop to the trails you did in annadel a few weeks ago? i ride annadel the most, so its sort of become my baseline...

Manzanita ain't no thang - just gotta carry the momentum. Have done the rocks on my FS and single speed bike.
