Auburn Shuttle Run Video

1201 Views 23 Replies 14 Participants Last post by  Atomik Carbon
Did a couple shuttle runs up in Auburn last weekend, it was pretty wet, but still a good time. Got a GoPro HD for Christmas and messed around with it a little bit up there. Raw video is great, I still gotta figure out how to keep it up when exporting, any tips.

Anyways heres some riding, enjoy.

God I wish I was riding that today.

Well, the first part anyway, the 2nd half sucks balls and is boring and pedally, but still sick and thanks for the vid!

Also, the outside line at 2:05 is a million times faster. Get some video of murders and eastside and stonewall!
nice vid....love the
water at the end....so beautiful just a little further down

nope, the top part has flow and speed, bottom half is just pedal pedal pedal. Really fun to take first timers on and get them into DH, its one of my favorite trails for that, but its pretty meh with fast riders. , the jumps on the bottom involve alot of pedalling, there are three jumps that are fun.

Hopefully the camera man (not sure of your name?) and justin get some vids of murders and rocky!

Fyck I want to go ride. Nobody wanted to drive there in the rain today :(

I totally agree with you about the bottom part of that trail, pedal pedal pedal, oh well, still a blast.

Ive ridden murders, eastside and stonewall once and it was with some guys ive never ridden with before and cant remember where the pick up was at the bottom! haha. I know where they start tho.
I like how the guy in front jumps the corner at 4:48 I've always thought about trying that. It looks like someone has built it up more since last time I was out there.

I like the lower part of Confluence but then again I like to pedal just as much as I like to coast.

nice video, thats one of my favorite trails. the double over the ravine the leader takes to the left side of the trail at 4:47, is huge, i still havent tried it
That's a sweet looking trail. Wish we had something that nice here on the east coast.
can't wait til this storm is over so I can head out there...
I lived in Auburn for years but was never into riding then. So mad at myself still...

Its really not bad at all, just give a couple pedals and you'll be fine.
Nice Vid. I myself just got the GP HD for Christmas and am enjoying it alot.

You said you were having problems "keeping it up while exporting"? What do you mean? If you clarify, I might be able to help. Been creating home vids for a while, but just added the Helmet Cam to my cameras.

Here's my first vid with the GP. Rainy day in Pacifica

Keeping the video quality up. When I open just the raw video from the GoPro, the colors are all bright and clear, pixels are good, not blurry, doesnt look grainy in the least bit. When I export it, the colors are dulled down alot and it looks more grainy or blurred to me.
Im using iMovie '09 to edit the videos, maybe im missing some settings.

Hope this clears up what I ment
