I'm new to the area but I couldn't wait to try out my new Mojo. It actually turned out to be a nice ride. There was quite a few trees down from the snow. Maybe somebody could recommend some good trails. Thanks
try the foresthill divide loop trail! Tried and true classic. ~11-12mi loop w/ ~1500ft elevation gain. Add in connector and to other trails and you have a great day of riding!
Salmon falls trail is a fun xc located in eldorado hills, but had like 6 trees down from the storm today too.
There's a FATRAC ride on FDLT tomorrow - a good way to learn the trail if you've never been, and meet some other local riders... but it's not technical - the Mojo would be much happier on the steeper trails near the river (as mentioned: Culvert/Confluence). I'm thinking about joining the FATRAC ride for a while and then cutting off down the connector trail and hitting Culvert/Confluence and maybe up Stagecoach and Manzanita as well before heading back to FDLT... I'll be out there on my brand new Mojo SL - building it up today - can't wait!
I'll be at the divide with FATRAC tomorrow. That's too hard core for me Scott, but I'll be doing the FDLT and half of the connector. It looks like there will be about 30 people there for the ride. Fun times will be had by all.
Me and a buddy are going to ride tomorrow. We're going to start out on the manzanita trail, connect to the stagecoach trail, up Clementine, across culvert, down confluence, and back up manzanita. Can't wait to properly test the Mojo. Maybe we'll see you guys out there.
You really should add an out & back on Connector into that ride. Connector is really the crown jewel of Auburn and should not be missed on any Auburn adventure:thumbsup:
