For those of u that use Shimano cranks/bb, what size bb do u use? I went with ES71 73/113. Is this correct? It is for a 00' big sur. I just want to make sure.

Thanks

Length is determined by the crank

73 BB shell width is correct for Fisher bikes. But the spindle length (113 in your case) depends on what model crank you have. Since you've got an ES71 BB, I assume you have an XT or an LX crank. 113 is correct if it's an XT or older LX. Newer LX cranks (with either the 2002 or 2003 model year, I forget which) need a longer spindle.
