What kind of agressive riding (downhill/street/jump) is there around the atlanta area? Im specificly interested in the local downhill racing scene (if there is one).

im not sure youll find any downhill specific areas...but check out central park its north of atlanta but they have some nice freeride obstacles and nice dirt jump area....check out sorba.org...look in the forums under freeriding...or do a search for SoFA...they will have what you are looking for

There are some nice downhills in North Georgia, near Dahlonega and Ellijay, but nothing you can reach without working for it.

You need to talk to the SORBA Freeride Alliance www.ridesofa.org. Lots of those guys also DH. You can also try the Freeride forum at www.sorba.org. Again, a lot of those guys ride downhill, too.

There isn't a local downhill scene until you get to the mountains of North Carolina.
