I saw these on Speedgoat. Does anyone ride one of these frames that can give a review? I just ordered a RX100 but one of my good friends wanted something similar but a 29er. I don't think he wants to spring for Ti either.....

short asylum review

you can check out a few short reviews on speedgoat's website:

http://www.speedgoat.com/blog.asp

and do a search on "asylum" - i have done several short write-up's on the bikes. i have been racing them all year - they ride super nice. great handling bike.

they are currently being built up by titus and runs chris (shop owner at speedgoat) custom geometry that he came up for specifically for ASYLUM.

check out the blog - if you have any other questions, feel free to post back and i'll try to reply back ASAP.

Yup, the sologoat will definitely give you the lowdown. Of course, he's a bit biased with them being his sponsor and all. ;)

Do a search here on the forums and you'll get lots of feedback. There may also be some good reviews over at http://www.twentyniner.net.

FWIW, I've been sold and have one on order, sight unseen (and unridden), just from the reviews of sologoat and the other folks who have them here on MTBR.

Cheers!

looks like most of the photo's have been deleted from the thread at this point, but this was a pretty good review: http://forums.mtbr.com/showthread.php?t=117639
Yup, Nathan left these forums not a happy camper. I thought those missing photos would be over at twentyniner.net but I just checked and they're not there either. Bummer. Oh well. ;) :p

I'll be sure to come back and post a review. Not sure it will be all that enlightening though as I haven't ridden a mtn. bike in a couple years and the last bike I had was a '96 Gary Fisher Supercaliber. :D

Happy Holidays!
