Alright, I'm stuck between a few bikes. Kona Unit/Big Unit. Haro Mary SS, and the Fisher Rig. I'd be looking at 2009 models mostly except for the 2010 Unit. Has anyone ridden a few of these bikes or own one? I'm stuck. I'm just under 5'8", with a 30" inseam so roughly a 16 inch frame for me. I'm not 100% sure on either horizontal drops or ebb bottom brackets. What are some +/- of each? What are your recommendations? Much thanks.

Have ridden the Unit and the Mary (2008) and were both great bikes. Can't really go wrong with either. The Rig from memory has an aluminium frame unlike the other two. The Unit is using Paragon sliders which are a great middle ground as you get the benefits of slot dropouts but the benefits of quick release rear wheel.

I ended up buying a GT Peace 9r which had an EBB which never caused me any problems either.

If I did it all over again I would probably be heading towards the Unit.

I do like the Unit, I may try and find a 2009 Big Unit left over somewhere. What else did you like about the Unit?
